Therapy is a place where you can bring your deepest hurts, most pressing concerns, and persistent worries to the table. It's a safe place where healing, restoration, and transformation can occur. It's a place where strategy, planning, and movement set the stage for growth and change. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment where you can tackle your toughest troubles and deepest voids, whatever they might be. My role as your therapist is to partner with you on your journey, helping you realize there is hope for the future.
Populations Served: Adolescents, adults, and families. I especially have a heart for working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate life transitions and make big decisions. This interest grew from my early work with teens in an educational setting.
Areas of Focus: I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, life stage transitions, relationship issues (boundaries, hurt, conflict, forgiveness, etc), dating, spiritual concerns, trauma, and women's issues (prenatal, pregnancy, postpartum, etc).
Models: I take a psycho-educational approach, blending different evidence-based treatments. I also address health holistically; focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, as a Christian, I incorporate Biblical principles into sessions if a client is looking to bring their faith into therapy.
